3D printing of micro- and smart optics

One of the promising applications of 3D printing is the printing of complex optical elements. The center’s team prints micro-optics, nanophotonics, and smart optics, including bifocal lenses for augmented reality.

The Center’s Team has competencies in the field of numerical calculations of optical systems and their prototyping, the creation of products using machine learning based on spectral data, the development of special materials (with a nonlinear optical response, transparent in a given spectral range, etc.), as well as in the development of 3D procedures – printing and post-processing to ensure the required chemical composition of the material and surface quality.
