The basis for the Center’s activities is Order No. 942 dated July 20, 2018, on the establishment of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Center for the collective use of educational and scientific equipment for technology and engineering
The center was created with the aim of prototyping and creating a pilot production of high-tech scientific instruments and equipment, as well as training personnel for engineering at Moscow University.
